Paid by Rick Staly, Republican, for Flagler County Sheriff
Dear Flagler County Residents,
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I announced my candidacy for Sheriff of Flagler County. Flagler County is on the verge of another high growth period, and we need a honest, experienced leader serving as our sheriff.
My vision is to bring about needed change in the sheriff's office. I intend to positively focus the employees on reducing crime in a way that doesn't have them constantly worrying about their employment. I will focus the sheriff’s office on new initiatives to combat crime, crime prevention, juvenile crime and illegal drug sales. I will refocus the agency using problem-oriented policing and a community guardianship philosophy. I will improve working conditions so Flagler County is no longer the training ground for other agencies. I will use my successful business experience to manage your tax dollars in a responsible and conservative manner.
My pledge to you is that I will be honest and tough on crime by targeting repeat offenders, fugitives from justice, street gangs, juvenile crime and drug dealers. Under my watch, Flagler County will no longer be a community where criminals and gangs operate without the fear of being caught With forty years experience, and a track record of being tough on criminals, I will make our community safe by reducing crime through a professionally run sheriff's office.
In the coming months, I look forward to meeting you, hearing your feedback and earning your vote on November 8, 2016. Together, we will have a safer community for our families to live in.
