Honest. Experienced. Leadership.
Rick Staly's Plan to Keep Flagler County Safe

Protecting our citizens is a way of life for Rick Staly.  With 40 years of experience in all levels of local law enforcement and business management, Rick has a proven record of fighting crime. Rick is the only candidate for Sheriff that graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy and is Certified in Homeland Security and was awarded fellow status by the American Board of Law Enforcement Experts.  No one will work harder to reduce crime and make our neighborhoods safe.

Reduce Crime

Rick will crack down on repeat offenders, fugitives from justice, street gang members and those selling drugs by implementing Problem Oriented Policing and focusing on quality of life issues in our neighborhoods like traffic and domestic violence.

Restore Integrity and Pride

Rick will implement a tough new ethics policy
and create a positive work environment with fair
compensation to retain our experienced employees and
deploy more deputies throughout the county to ensure
the safety and security of our community.

Rapid Emergency Response

Rick is the only candidate certified in Homeland Security.  Whether facing a terrorist attack, active shooter or natural disaster, Rick will equip, prepare and train our deputies and support staff for emergency response to all types of emergencies.

Protect Our Tax Dollars

Rick will use his successful business experience and experience managing $120m dollar government budgets to operate the Sheriff's Office on a fiscally conservative manner.  Rick will be ethical, efficient and responsible with taxpayers' money and ensure our money is only spent on fighting crime.
